Carl Gabriele Yorke

Carl Gabriel Yorke (born 23 November 1952 in Burbank, California, USA) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Alan Yates in Ruggero Deodato’s Cannibal Holocaust (1980).

I met Carl at the Weird Worcester convention in June 2025, where he signed a Blu-ray sleeve and a DVD cover for me.

Enzo G. Castellari

Enzo G. Castellari (born Enzo Girolami; 29 July 1938 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian film director, screenwriter and actor.

He directed a large number of Italian films in various genres, many of which have become (cult) classics. These include Eagles over London (1969), High Crime (1973), Street Law (1974), The Big Racket (1976), The Heroin Busters (1977), The Inglorious Bastards (1978), The Shark Hunter (1979), Day of the Cobra (1980), The Last Shark (1981), 1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982), The New Barbarians (1983), and Escape from the Bronx (1983).

I met Mr Castellari at the Weird Worcester convention in July 2025, where he signed three Blu-ray sleeves for me.

Silvia Collatina


Silvia Collatina (born 14 January 1972 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian actress who, as a child, appeared in several Italian horror movies of the late 1970s and 80s. She is best known for her roles in Sergio Martino's The Great Alligator (1979) and two Luigi Fulci films: The House by the Cemetery (1981) and Murder Rock (1984).

I met Silvia at the Weird Worcester convention in June 2025.

Margit Newton

Margit Evelyn Newton (born Margit Gansbacher; 12 October 1962 in Bolzano, Italy) is an Italian actress who appeared in fourteen films between 1979 and 1990. Newton is perhaps best known for her performance in the 1980 Bruno Mattei zombie film Hell of the Living Dead (also known as Zombie Creeping Flesh).

She also appeared in The Last Hunter (1980, also known as Hunter of the Apocalypse), The Final Executioner (1984), and The Bronx Executioner (1989). She had a cameo appearance in Claude Chabrol's Quiet Days in Clichy (1990), her most recent film to date.

I met Margit at the Weird Worcester convention in June 2025, where she signed two Blu-ray sleeves for me.

Sergio Martino

Sergio Martino (born 19 July 1938 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian film director and producer, notable for his contributions to the giallo genre. Martino is the brother of the late producer Luciano Martino (who died in 2013). They collaborated frequently in their respective professions. Their grandfather was director Gennaro Righelli.

I know him best for genre films such as The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh (1971), The Case of the Scorpion's Tale (1971), All the Colours of the Dark (1972), Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key (1972), Torso (1973), The Violent Professionals (1973), Silent Action (1975), The Suspicious Death of a Minor (1975), The Slave of the Cannibal God (1978), The Great Alligator (1979), 2019: After the Fall of New York (1983), and Hands of Steel (1986).

Lamberto Bava

Lamberto Bava (born 3 April 1944 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian film director. He is the son of legendary director Mario Bava. I know him for films such as Macabre (1980), A Blade in the Dark (1983), Blastfighter (1984), Monster Shark (1984), Demons (1985), Demons 2 (1986), Delirium (1987), and Body Puzzle (1992).

I met Mr Bava at the Weird Worcester Convention in June 2025.

Catriona MacColl

Catriona MacColl (born 3 October 1954 in London, England) is an English actress who has worked extensively in both film and television across Europe. She is best known for her work in Italian horror films, as she has appeared in Lucio Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy; City of the Living Dead (1980), The Beyond (1981) and The House by the Cemetery (1981).

Howard Ross

Howard Ross (born Renato Rossini; 10 January 1941 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian film actor. Rossini got his first major roles in peplum films. In the mid-1960s, he adopted the stage name Howard Ross. He was mainly active in genre films, specialising in adventure films, giallo films and poliziotteschi.

I know him for films such as The Boss (1973), Werewolf Woman (1976), The Pyjama Girl Case (1977), The New York Ripper (1982), and Warriors of the Year 2072 (1984).

I met Mr Rossini at the Weird Worcester convention in June 2025.

Geretta Geretta

Geretta Geretta (born 14 July 1958 in Portland, Oregon, USA) is an American actress, director and screenwriter. Her film roles include several Italian genre films, including 2020 Texas Gladiators (1983), Murder Rock (1984), Rats: Night of Terror (1984), and Demons (1985).

I bought the signed photo below in a German Comic Con Facebook sale in February 2025. It may have been signed when Geretta appeared at Weekend of Hell in Düsseldorf in November 2021. I met her at the Weird Worcester convention in June 2025, where she signed two Blu-ray covers for me.
