Harry Manfredini

Harry Manfredini (born 25 August 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American film composer and jazz soloist who has scored more than one hundred films. He is probably best known for composing the score of nine of the Friday the 13th slasher films including the 1980 original. Manfredini also scored a number of other Sean S. Cunningham productions including Here Come the Tigers (1978), Manny's Orphans (1978), Spring Break (1983), the House series (1985-1992) and Deep Star Six (1989). Other credits include the Wes Craven films Swamp Thing (1982), The Hills Have Eyes Part II (1985) and Wishmaster (1997).

I bought the signed CD of the Friday the 13th Part 2 & 3 score directly from the La-La Land Records online store.

Richard Bellis

Richard Roe Bellis (born 3 April 1946 in Pasadena, California, USA) is an American composer. I know him best for composing the score for the 1990 mini-series Stephen King's It. Bellis is a former President of the Society of Composers & Lyricists, former governor of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmy Awards) a USC lecturer and the composer of music for numerous TV movies.

I purchased a signed copy of the It soundtrack CD from Creature Features who are based in Burbank, California. They organised a Q&A and signing session with Benjamin Wallfisch and Richard Bellis in November 2017 and sold a limited number of signed copies through their website.

He composed the score of five installments of The Fast and the Furious franchise.

I purchased signed Rambo and The Expendables soundtrack CDs from Buysoundtrax.com around the time both albums were released.

Giorgio Moroder

Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (born 26 April 1940 in Urtijëi, South Tyrol, Italy) is an Italian singer, songwriter, DJ and record producer. Moroder is known as the "Father of Disco" (he produced huge hits for Donna Summer during the late-1970s disco era) and is credited with pioneering Italo disco and electronic dance music. His work with synthesizers heavily influenced several music genres such as new wave, techno and house music.

I have always known him best for his contributions to soundtracks of such films as Midnight Express (1978), Flashdance (1983), Scarface (1983), Electric Dreams (1984), Top Gun (1986), Over the Top (1987), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and Rambo III (1988).

I met Giorgio after his concert at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on 4 April 2019 when he signed my Over the Top CD inlay, which had been signed by Frank Stallone the year before.
