Judie Aronson

Judith M. Aronson (born 7 June 1964 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American actress who has appeared in many films and television shows. Her first film role was in the 1984 horror film Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter as Samantha. In 1985, she appeared in the hit comedy movie Weird Science as Hilly and in the action movie American Ninja as Patricia. Other than short films, she has not appeared in film or television since the 2005 film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Judie appeared at London Comic Con Winter on 16 and 17 November 2024. I ordered the American Ninja photo below through the Showmasters send-in service.

De'voreaux White

De'voreaux White (born Devorea W. Sefas on 6 August 1965 in Los Angeles County, California, USA) is an American actor. He started his career as a child actor in the late 1970s, and is probably best known for his role in Die Hard (1988) as the young limousine driver, Argyle. I also know him for his role as Lucky in Trespass (1992).

Robert Patrick

Robert Hammond Patrick (born 5 November 1958 in Marietta, Georgia, USA) is an American actor. After playing a supporting role in Die Hard 2 (1990), he came to prominence as the T-1000, the antagonist of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), a role he reprised for cameo appearances in Wayne's World (1992) and Last Action Hero (1993). His other film credits include Fire in the Sky (1993), Striptease (1996), Cop Land (1997), The Faculty (1998), Spy Kids (2001), Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003), and Ladder 49 (2004).

MyAnna Buring

My Anna Margaretha Buring Rantapää (born 22 September 1979 in Sundsvall, Västernorrland, Sweden), known professionally as MyAnna Buring, is a Swedish-born British actress. Her films include The Descent (2005), Kill List (2011), and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011) and Part 2 (2012). On television, she is known for her roles in the BBC series Ripper Street (2012–16) and the Netflix series The Witcher (2019–23).

I met MyAnna at Film & Comic Con Glasgow on 24th August 2024.

William Hope

William Hope (born 2nd March 1955 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian actor, whom I know best for his roles as Lieutenant Scott Gorman in Aliens (1986) and Kyle MacRae in Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988).

I met William at Film & Comic Con Glasgow on 24th August 2024.

Glynis Barber (born Glynis van der Riet; 25 October 1955 in Durban, South Africa) is a South African actress. I know her best for her portrayal of Sgt. Harriet Makepeace in the British police drama series Dempsey and Makepeace (1985-86).

Michael Brandon

Michael Brandon (born Michael Feldman; 20 April 1945 in New York City, New York, USA) is an American actor. He is probably best known for his role as James Dempsey in the British police drama series Dempsey and Makepeace (1985–86). Film credits include a starring role in the Dario Argento giallo film Four Flies on Grey Velvet (1974) and the 1978 film FM. He appeared as Senator Brandt in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011).

Danny Trejo

Danny Trejo (born 16 May 1944 in Echo Park, Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American actor. He has over 400 acting credits on IMDb. Trejo's film career began in 1985, with the Cannon production Runaway Train. He went on to appear in a multitude of other films, including The Hidden (1987), Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987), Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects (1989), Lock Up (1989), Maniac Cop 2 (1990), Marked for Death (1990), Desperado (1995), Heat (1995), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), Anaconda (1997), Con Air (1997), From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money (1999), From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (1999), Reindeer Games (2000), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Halloween (2007), Predators (2010)

With frequent collaborator and second cousin Robert Rodriguez, he portrayed the character of Isador "Machete" Cortez, which was originally developed for the Spy Kids series (2001-11) and also appeared in Planet Terror (2007). It was later expanded into its own franchise (Machete (2010) and Manchete Kills (2013))

Scott Adkins

Scott Edward Adkins (born 17 June 1976 in Birmingham, West Midlands, England) is an English actor, film producer and martial artist. He played Yuri Boyka in Undisputed II: Last Man Standing (2006) and its two sequels, Undisputed III: Redemption (2010) and Boyka: Undisputed (2017); Casey Bowman in Ninja (2009) and its sequel Ninja: Shadow of a Tear (2013); French in the The Debt Collector (2018) and its sequel Debt Collector 2 (2020).

He worked in four films with Jean-Claude Van Damme: The Shepherd: Border Patrol (2008), Assassination Games (2011), Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning (2012) and The Expendables 2 (2012). He also had starring roles in The Legend of Hercules (2014), Wolf Warrior (2015) and Ip Man 4: The Finale (2019) playing the main antagonist in all three films, and also appeared in The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), Zero Dark Thirty (2012), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and Doctor Strange. In 2022, he starred in Day Shift with Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco, and in John Wick: Chapter 4 alongside Keanu Reeves in 2023.

Ruggero Deodato

Ruggero Deodato (born 7 May 1939 in Potenza, Basilicata, Italy; died 29 December 2022 in Rome Italy) was an Italian film director and screenwriter, who is probably best know for the brutal horror film Cannibal Holocaust (1980). However, his career spanned a wide range of other genres including peplum, comedy, drama, poliziottesco, and science fiction. Other notable films include Live Like a Cop, Die Like a Man (1976), Last Cannibal World (1977), The House on the Edge of the Park (1980), Cut And Run (1984), and The Barbarians (1987).

Ruggero signed the Cannibal Holocaust Blu-Ray sleeve for me when he appeared at London Film & Comic Con in July 2019 (I was not able to attend this event but used the Showmasters pre-order service).

Michael Ironside

Frederick Reginald Ironside (born 12 February 1950 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada), known as Michael Ironside, is a Canadian actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. I know him best for his roles in Scanners (1981), Top Gun (1986), Extreme Prejudice (1987), Total Recall (1990), Highlander II: The Quickening (1991), and Starship Troopers (1997).

Michael Ironside appeared at London Comic Con Winter in November 2022 where he signed a Top Gun 8x10 and my Top Gun Soundtrack record sleeve (also signed by James Tolkan in Edinburgh in October). I had pre-ordered the signed photo months ago through the Showmasters send-in service since he was originally scheduled to appear at LFFC in July 2022. The record sleeve I had sent to Woody's Memorabilia to be signed at the winter event since I do not really trust the Showmasters service anymore when it comes to sending in my own items.

Susan George

Susan Melody George (born 26 July 1950 in Surbiton, Surrey, England) is an English film and television actress. She is best known for starring in films such as Twinky (1969), Straw Dogs (1971), Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry (1974), Mandingo (1975), and Enter the Ninja (1981).

Susan appeared at the London Film Fair on 6 November 2022. I ordered the Enter the Ninja photo below through the Showmasters send-in service.

Billy Dee Williams

William December Williams Jr. (born April 6, 1937) is an American actor. He appeared as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars franchise, first in the early 1980s for The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983), and thirty-six years later in The Rise of Skywalker (2019), marking one of the longest intervals between onscreen portrayals of a character by the same actor in American film history.

He first came to my attention as Detective Matthew Fox in Nighthawks (1981), one of my all-time favourite Stallone films. He also starred as Detective Hazeltine in Number One with a Bullet (1986) and played Harvey Dent in Batman (1989).

Mr Williams signed my Nighthawks lobby card when he appeared at London Film & Comic Con Spring in February 2016. I did not attend this convention but used the Showmasters pre-order service instead.

Madeline Smith

Madeline Smith (born 2 August 1949 in Hartfield, Wealden, East Sussex, England) is an English actress. After working as a model in the late 1960s, she went on to appear in many television series, stage productions and films in the 1970s and 1980s.

I know her best for her role as Miss Caruso in the James Bond film Live and Let Die (1973). However, she also had larger roles in the Hammer horror films The Vampire Lovers (1970), Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970), Tam-Lin (1970), Theatre of Blood (1973) and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974) and comedy films including Up Pompeii (1971), Up the Front (1972) and Carry On Matron (1972) amongst others. She also appeared in the films The Killing of Sister George (1968), Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You (1970), The Amazing Mr. Blunden (1972) and the musical film Take Me High (1973) with Cliff Richard.

I had a photo signed at a private signing organised by Bondstars.com in February 2022. I later met Madeline at Film & Comic Con Glasgow on 24th August 2024.

Andrew Robinson

Andrew Jordt Robinson (born 14 February 1942 in New York City, USA) is an American actor works works predominantly in supporting roles on television and in low-budget films. I know him best for his portrayals of the serial killer Scorpio in Dirty Harry (1971), Detective Monte in Cobra (1986), Larry Cotton in Hellraiser (1987), Sergeant Botnick in Child's Play 3 (1991), and Elim Garak in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993–99).

Andrew signed my Hellraiser DVD sleeve when he appeared at Destination Star Trek in Birmingham in October 2018. I did not attend this convention but used the Showmasters pre-order service. I used the same service to purchase the Dirty Harry 8x10 photo when Andrew appeared at London Comic Con in November 2021.

Marina Sirtis

Marina Sirtis (born 29 March 1955 in London, England) is a British-American actress. She is best known for her role as Counselor Deanna Troi in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation and four Star Trek feature films: Star Trek Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). I also know her for her role as Maria Rodriguez in Death Wish 3 (1985).

I first saw Maria at Collectormania Glasgow in August 2008. I attended her Q&A panel but did not meet her. Not long after I 'won' a signed photo at one of the Collectormanias in Glasgow, probably around 2010. In August 2022 I had a picture with her taken at Film & Comic Con Glasgow.

Jonathan Watson (born 1957-58 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish actor best known for his BBC Scotland comedy sketch show Only an Excuse? (1995-2018), which parodied people and events from the world of Scottish football and for his role as Colin in the BBC comedy series Two Doors Down (2013-present).

Natalia Tena

Natalia Gastiain Tena (born 1 November 1984 in London, England) is an English-Spanish actress and musician. She is best know for portraying Nymphadora Tonks in four Harry Potter films (2007-11), and the wildling Osha in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011-13, 2016).

I met Natalia at Film & Comic Con Glasgow in August 2022.
