Sasson Gabai

Sasson Gabai (or Gabay; born 24 November 1947 in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Israeli actor. I know him best for his role as Mousa Ghani in Rambo III (1988).

I purchased the signed Rambo III photo from RACC Verified Seller Nelson Castrillo in January 2022.

Matthew Marsden

Matthew David Marsden (born 3 March 1973 in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England) is an English-American actor, producer, singer and former model. He has appeared in films such as Black Hawk Down (2001),  Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), Rambo (2008), and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009).

I bought the photo below (also signed by Julie Benz) from Big Screen Autographs at Comic Con Scotland North East in March 2022.

Julie Benz

Julie Benz (born 1 May 1972 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA) is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel (1997–2004), and as Rita Bennett on Dexter (2006–2010). I know her best for her role as Sarah Miller in Rambo (2008).

Julie has also starred in the television series Roswell (1999–2000), Desperate Housewives (2010), No Ordinary Family (2010–2011), A Gifted Man (2011–2012), Defiance (2013–2015), Hawaii Five-0 (2015–2017), Training Day (2017) and Love, Victor (2021). Her film credits include Jawbreaker (1999), The Brothers (2001), Saw V (2008), Punisher: War Zone (2008), and The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009).

The dedicated photo from Rambo was purchased through the Showmaster send-in service. I believe it was signed at Collectormania 24 in Birmingham in June 2017. I bought the other Rambo photo (also signed by Matthew Marsden) from Big Screen Autographs at Comic Con Scotland North East in March 2022.

David Caruso

David Stephen Caruso (born 7 January 1956 in Forrest Hill, Queens, New York, USA) is a retired American actor and producer, best known for his roles as Detective John Kelly on the ABC crime drama NYPD Blue (1993-94) and Lieutenant Horatio Caine on the CBS series CSI: Miami (2002-12). I know him best as Deputy Mitch in First Blood (1982) however. He also appeared in the films An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), Twins (1988), Kiss of Death (1995) and Proof of Life (2000).

I purchased the autograph below on the Real Autograph Collectors Club (RACC) Facebook group in July 2021. It was originally obtained through the mail in March 2009.

Kurtwood Smith

Kurtwood Larson Smith (born 3 July 1943 in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, USA) is an American television and film actor. He is probably best known for playing Clarence Boddicker in RoboCop (1987) and Red Forman in the comedy series That '70s Show (1998-2006).

He appeared in many films throughout the 80s and 90s including Zoot Suit (1981), Staying Alive (1983), Flashpoint (1984), Rambo III (1988), Dead Poets Society (1989), Quick Change (1990), Oscar (1991), Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), Fortress (1992), The Crush (1993), Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995), Broken Arrow (1996), A Time to Kill (1996) and Deep Impact (1998).

I purchased Mr Kurtwood's autograph from RACC Trusted Seller #108 Ilya Zeta in September 2021.

Ted Kotcheff

William Theodore Kotcheff (born 7 April 1931 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; died 10 April 2025 in Nuevo Nayarit, Nayarit, Mexico) was a Canadian film and television director and producer, known primarily for his work on British and American television productions such as Armchair Theatre and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. I knew him best for directing the original Rambo movie First Blood (1982). He directed many other films including Wake in Fright (1971), Uncommon Valor (1983), Fun with Dick and Jane (1977), North Dallas Forty (1979), Switching Channels (1988), Winter People (1989), Weekend at Bernie's (1989), and The Shooter (1995).

I purchased Mr Kotcheff's autograph from RACC dealer Ron Dabitz who obtained the autograph at the Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany on 15 September 2011.

Brian Tyler

Brian Tyler (born 8 May 1972 in Orange County, California, USA) is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, conductor, arranger, DJ and producer. Tyler's scores include Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007), Rambo (2008), The Expendables trilogy (2010-14), Iron Man 3 (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) with Danny Elfman. He also re-arranged the current fanfare of the Universal Pictures logo (composed by Jerry Goldsmith) and the updated Marvel Studios logo, which debuted with Thor: The Dark World. He composed the score of five installments of The Fast and the Furious franchise.

I purchased signed Rambo and The Expendables soundtrack CDs from Buysoundtrax.com around the time both albums were released.

Giorgio Moroder

Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (born 26 April 1940 in Urtijëi, South Tyrol, Italy) is an Italian singer, songwriter, DJ and record producer. Moroder is known as the "Father of Disco" (he produced huge hits for Donna Summer during the late-1970s disco era) and is credited with pioneering Italo disco and electronic dance music. His work with synthesizers heavily influenced several music genres such as new wave, techno and house music.

I have always known him best for his contributions to soundtracks of such films as Midnight Express (1978), Flashdance (1983), Scarface (1983), Electric Dreams (1984), Top Gun (1986), Over the Top (1987), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and Rambo III (1988).

I met Giorgio after his concert at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on 4 April 2019 when he signed my Over the Top CD inlay, which had been signed by Frank Stallone the year before.

Graham McTavish

Graham James McTavish (born 4 January 1961 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish film, television and voice actor. He is known for his roles as Dwalin in The Hobbit film trilogy (2012-14), Dougal Mackenzie in the Starz series Outlander (2014-16) and the Saint of Killers in the AMC series Preacher (2016-present). I know him for his roles as Lewis in Rambo (2008) and Tommy Holiday in Creed (2015). Apart from Sylvester Stallone, he is therefore the only actor with speaking parts in both the Rambo and Rocky franchises.

I met Graham at Collectormania Glasgow in August 2013.

Steven Berkoff

Leslie Steven Berkoff (né Berks; born 3 August 1937 in Stepney, London, England) is an English character actor, author, playwright and theatre director. As a movie actor, he is best known for his performances in villainous roles, such as General Orlov in the James Bond film Octopussy (1983), Victor Maitland in Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and Lt. Col Podovsky in Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985).

I met Mr Berkoff at the Entertainment Media Show in London in October 2012 where he signed the B&W Rambo press photo. The other three photos were signed at a private signing organised by All Star Autographs in July 2022

Michael Talbott

Michael Talbott (born 2 February 1955 in Waverly, Iowa, USA) is an American actor. He is best known for his co-starring role as Det. Stanley Switek in the television series Miami Vice (1984-89). He also played a bully named Freddy in the Stephen King adaptation Carrie (1976) and Deputy Balford in First Blood (1982).

Brian Dennehy

Brian Manion Dennehy (born 9 July 1938 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA; died 15 April 2020 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA) was an American actor of film, stage, and television. One of his most memorable roles was probably that of Sheriff Will Teasle in First Blood (1982) starring Sylvester Stallone as Rambo. A few years prior he had appeared in another Stallone film, F.I.S.T. (1978).

Other films I know him from include Cocoon (1985) and Cocoon: The Return (1988), F/X (1986) and F/X2 (1991), Blue Heat (1990), Presumed Innocent (1990), the boxing drama Gladiator (1992), Romeo + Juliet (1996), and the 2005 remake of Assault on Precinct 13. Dennehy won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film for his role as Willy Loman in the television film Death of a Salesman (2000).

Martin Kove

Martin Kove (born 6 March 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, USA) is an American actor best known for his role as the Cobra Kai sensei John Kreese in the Karate Kid film series (1984-1989) and the follow-up YouTube series Cobra Kai (2018-present). He is also known for his work in films such as Death Race 2000 (1975) Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Steele Justice (1987) and Wyatt Earp (1994). He also had a recurring role in the television series Cagney & Lacey (1982-1988) as Victor Isbecki.

I obtained Martin's autograph on the Karate Kid 8x10 photo through the Showmasters pre-order service when he attended London Film & Comic Con in June 2012. The Rambo photo was purchased from Showmasters in September 2020. The signed Karate Kid 11x17 poster was purchased from Cinema Utopia Private Signings in October 2020. I finally met Martin at Comic Con Scotland in Edinburgh on 6 October 2024, where he signed my Rambo soundtrack sleeve and a Death Race 2000 12x16 poster.

Julia Nickson

Julia Nickson (born 11 September 1958) is a Singapore-born American actress. She first came to the attention of international audiences as Sylvester Stallone's love interest Co Bao in the boxoffice hit Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985). Other credits include playing Catherine Sakai in the first season of Babylon 5 and a recurring role as Dr Susan Lee on the television series Walker, Texas Ranger.

I received the autograph below after having supported a failed Kickstarter project in 2014.

Frank Stallone

Frank Stallone, Jr. (born 30 July 1950 in New York City, New York, USA) is an American actor, singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is the younger brother of Sylvester Stallone and wrote music for some of his movies e.g. Rocky I, II and III, Rambo: First Blood Part II and Over The Top. His song "Far from Over", which appeared in the Sylvester Stallone directed film Staying Alive (1983) and was also featured in the film's soundtrack, peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100, for which he received Golden Globe and Grammy nominations.

As an actor he has 74 credits on IMDb. Among these are parts in the Cannon productions Barfly (1987) and Ten Little Indians (1989), Hudson Hawk (1991) and Tombstone (1993).
