Michael Ironside

Frederick Reginald Ironside (born 12 February 1950 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada), known as Michael Ironside, is a Canadian actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. I know him best for his roles in Scanners (1981), Top Gun (1986), Extreme Prejudice (1987), Total Recall (1990), Highlander II: The Quickening (1991), and Starship Troopers (1997).

Michael Ironside appeared at London Comic Con Winter in November 2022 where he signed a Top Gun 8x10 and my Top Gun Soundtrack record sleeve (also signed by James Tolkan in Edinburgh in October). I had pre-ordered the signed photo months ago through the Showmasters send-in service since he was originally scheduled to appear at LFFC in July 2022. The record sleeve I had sent to Woody's Memorabilia to be signed at the winter event since I do not really trust the Showmasters service anymore when it comes to sending in my own items.

Tom Skerritt

Thomas Roy Skerritt (born 25 August 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, USA) is an American actor who has appeared in over 40 films and more than 200 television episodes since 1962. He is known for his film roles in M*A*S*H (1970), Alien (1979), The Dead Zone (1983), Top Gun (1986), Spacecamp (1986), Poltergeist III (1988), The Rookie (1990), Knight Moves (1992), and Contact (1997).

The Top Gun photo below was signed by Tom in November 2021 when he made an appearance at London Film & Comic Con. I pre-ordered it from the Showmasters send-in service. I won the Alien photo at the silent auction at Film & Comic Con Glasgow in August 2017. I believe Tom signed it at LFFC the month before.

Clarence Gilyard Jr.

Clarence Darnell Gilyard Jr. (born 24 December 1955 in Moses Lake, Washington, USA; died 28 November 2022) was an American university professor, actor, and author who featured in movies, television programmes and regional theatre since 1980. He was sometimes credited as Clarence A. Gilyard.

I knew him best for his roles as Marcus "Sundown" Williams in Top Gun (1986), Theo in Die Hard (1988) and James "Jimmy" Trivette in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger (1993-2001).

The autograph was signed by Clarence in July 2022 when he made an appearance at London Film & Comic Con. I pre-ordered it from the Showmasters send-in service.

Rick Rossovich

Frederic Enrico Rossovich (born 28 August 1957 in Palo Alto, California, USA) is an American actor. Rossovich began acting in the early 1980s, first gaining recognition for portraying Ron "Slider" Kerner in the 1986 film Top Gun. Rossovich's other movies include The Lords of Discipline (1983), Losin' It (1983), The Terminator (1984), Roxanne (1987), Spellbinder (1988), Paint It Black (1989), Navy SEALs (1990), Miracle in Lane 2 (2002).

The autograph was signed by Rick in July 2022 when he made an appearance at London Film & Comic Con. I pre-ordered it from the Showmasters send-in service.

James Stewart Tolkan (born 20 June 1931 in Calumet, Michigan) is an American actor. I know him best for his roles as Mr. Strickland in Back to the Future (1985), Back to the Future Part II (1989) and Back to the Future Part III (1990), Stinger in Top Gun (1986), Detective Lubic in Masters of the Universe (1987) and Numbers in Dick Tracy (1990).

I purchased Mr Tolkan's autograph on a Masters of the Universe 8x10 from RACC Trusted Seller #108 Ilya Zeta in December 2021. I finally got to meet him on 8 October 2022 at Comic Con Scotland where he signed my Top Gun soundtrack record sleeve and a Back to the Future 8x10. Two months later I purchased a Top Gun 8x10 from Celebrity Ink Autographs (RACC Trusted Seller #184).

Harold Faltermeyer

Hans Hugo Harold Faltermeier (born 5 October 1952 in Munich, West Germany), known professionally as Harold Faltermeyer, is a German musician, composer and record producer.

Faltermeyer is best known for composing the "Axel F" theme for the feature film Beverly Hills Cop (1984). This electronic instrumental theme was a big hit in many countries in 1985. He also composed the scores for Fletch (1985), Top Gun (1986), Fatal Beauty (1987), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), The Running Man (1987), Fletch Lives (1989) and Tango & Cash (1989).

I purchased Harold's autograph from RACC Trusted Seller #108 Ilya Zeta in November 2021.

Giorgio Moroder

Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (born 26 April 1940 in Urtijëi, South Tyrol, Italy) is an Italian singer, songwriter, DJ and record producer. Moroder is known as the "Father of Disco" (he produced huge hits for Donna Summer during the late-1970s disco era) and is credited with pioneering Italo disco and electronic dance music. His work with synthesizers heavily influenced several music genres such as new wave, techno and house music.

I have always known him best for his contributions to soundtracks of such films as Midnight Express (1978), Flashdance (1983), Scarface (1983), Electric Dreams (1984), Top Gun (1986), Over the Top (1987), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and Rambo III (1988).

I met Giorgio after his concert at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on 4 April 2019 when he signed my Over the Top CD inlay, which had been signed by Frank Stallone the year before.
