Martin Kove (born 6 March 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, USA) is an American actor best known for his role as the Cobra Kai sensei John Kreese in the
Karate Kid film series (1984-1989) and the follow-up YouTube series
Cobra Kai (2018-present). He is also known for his work in films such as
Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985),
Steele Justice (1987) and
Wyatt Earp (1994). He also had a recurring role in the television series
Cagney & Lacey (1982-1988) as Victor Isbecki.
I obtained Martin's autograph on the
Karate Kid 8x10 photo through the Showmasters pre-order service when he attended London Film & Comic Con in June 2012. The
Rambo photo was purchased from Showmasters in September 2020. The signed
Karate Kid 11x17 poster was purchased from Cinema Utopia Private Signings in October 2020.
