Brian Dennehy

Brian Manion Dennehy (born 9 July 1938 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA; died 15 April 2020 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA) was an American actor of film, stage, and television. One of his most memorable roles was probably that of Sheriff Will Teasle in First Blood (1982) starring Sylvester Stallone as Rambo. A few years prior he had appeared in another Stallone film, F.I.S.T. (1978).

Other films I know him from include Cocoon (1985) and Cocoon: The Return (1988), F/X (1986) and F/X2 (1991), Blue Heat (1990), Presumed Innocent (1990), the boxing drama Gladiator (1992), Romeo + Juliet (1996), and the 2005 remake of Assault on Precinct 13. Dennehy won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film for his role as Willy Loman in the television film Death of a Salesman (2000).

I obtained Mr Dennehy's autograph through the mail.
