Angus MacInnes

Angus MacInnes (born 27 October 1947 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada; died 23 December 2024) was a Canadian actor. He was best known for his role as Jon "Dutch" Vander in Star Wars (1977) and as former hockey great Jean "Rosey" LaRose in the comedy Strange Brew (1983). He also appeared in Witness (1985) as a corrupt policeman, as Homicide Detective Bronson in Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988), as Judge Silver in the Sylvester Stallone comic book adaptation Judge Dredd (1995) and as Sergeant Whitman in Hellboy (2014) as well as many other high profile films.

I met Angus twice: at the Something Bl**dy Awesome convention in Edinburgh in April 2014 and at Collectormania Glasgow in August 2014.

Burn Gorman

Burn Hugh Winchester Gorman (born 1 September 1974 in Hollywood, California, USA) is an English actor and musician. He is known for his roles as Owen Harper in the BBC series Torchwood (2006–08), Karl Tanner in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2013–14), Hermann Gottlieb in Pacific Rim (2013) and its sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), and Major Edmund Hewlett in the AMC series Turn: Washington's Spies (2014). Gorman portrayed 'The Marshal' in the first season of the Amazon drama The Man in the High Castle.

Christopher William "Chris" Rankin (born 8 November 1983 in Auckland, New Zealsn) is a New Zealand-born British actor who is best known for playing Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise.

He appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011).

Anna Schaffer

Anna Shaffer (born 15 March 1992 in London, England) is an English actress, known for her roles as Ruby Button in teen soap opera Hollyoaks and Romilda Vane in the Harry Potter film series. Shaffer was cast in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) as Romilda Vane, the fourth year student who tried to use a love potion on Harry. She would then reprise this role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011). She also plays the role of Triss Merigold in the Netflix series The Witcher.

I met Anna at Collectormania Glasgow in August 2014.

Julian Glover

Julian Wyatt Glover CBE (born 27 March 1935 in Hampstead, London, England) is an English classical actor, with many stage, television and film roles since commencing his career in the 1950s. He is a recipient of the Laurence Olivier Award and has performed many times for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Glover is known for portraying major characters in many popular movie and television franchises. His film roles have included General Maximilian Veers in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Aristotle Kristatos in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981) and Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). He also voiced the giant spider Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002).

Glover has also appeared frequently on television, especially in the UK, including guest appearances on such series as The Avengers, The Saint, Doctor Who, Blake's 7 and Remington Steele. From 2011-16, he played the recurring supporting role of Grand Maester Pycelle in HBO's Game of Thrones. In January 2013, he appeared as General Beauvilliers in the BBC drama Spies of Warsaw.

Sheree Julienne Wilson (born 12 December 1958 in Rochester, Minnesota, USA) is an American actress, producer, businesswoman, and model. She is best known for her roles as April Stevens Ewing on the American television series Dallas (1986–1991) and as Alex Cahill-Walker on the television series Walker, Texas Ranger (1993–2001) alongside Chuck Norris. She also shared a screen with Norris in Hellbound (1994).

Jesse Ventura

Jesse Ventura (born James George Janos; 15 July 1951 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA) is an American media personality, actor, author, retired professional wrestler and former politician who served as the Mayor of Brooklyn Park from 1993 to 1995 and as the 38th Governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003. He was the first and only candidate of the Reform Party to win a major government position.

Ventura was a member of the U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team during the Vietnam War. After leaving the military, he embarked on a professional wrestling career from 1975 to 1986, taking the ring name Jesse 'The Body' Ventura. He had a long tenure in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as a performer and color commentator and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2004.

However, I know Ventura best for his acting career. He played the parts of Blain Cooper in Predator (1987) and Captain Freedom in The Running Man (1987). He also had supporting roles in films such as Ricochet (1991), Demolition Man (1993) and Batman & Robin (1997).

I obtained Jesse Ventura's autograph through the mail in August 2015.
