Michael Winslow

Michael Leslie Winslow (born 6 September 1958 in Spokane, Washington, USA) is an American actor, comedian, and beatboxer billed as 'The Man of 10,000 Sound Effects' for his ability to make realistic sounds using only his voice. He is best known for his roles in all seven Police Academy films (984-94) as Larvell Jones. I also know him for his part in the Mel Brooks comedy Spaceballs (1987).

I met Michael at Comic Con Scotland in Edinburgh in October 2025, where he signed my Police Academy 4 soundtrack album.

Ramario Xolo Ramirez (born 9 June 2001 in Los Angeles, California, USA), known professionally as Xolo Maridueña, is an American actor. He began his career as a child, starring as Victor Graham in the NBC drama Parenthood (2012-15), and rose to prominence for playing Miguel Diaz in the Netflix series Cobra Kai (2018–25) and Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle in the DC Comics superhero film Blue Beetle (2023).

I met Tara at Comic Con Scotland in Edinburgh in October 2025. She signed my VHS copy of American Pie, which was one of my first Amazon purchases back in 2000.

Christopher Thomas Howell (born 7 December 1966 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American actor and director. He made his film debut with a supporting role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), however he had his breakout with a lead role as Ponyboy Curtis in the coming-of-age film The Outsiders (1983).

Following his breakout, he had starring roles in the films Tank (1984), Grandview, U.S.A. (1984), Red Dawn (1984), Secret Admirer (1985), The Hitcher (1986), and Soul Man (1986).

I met Thomas at Comic Con Scotland in Edinburgh in October 2025. He signed my Red Dawn soundtrack album, which had previously been signed by Lea Thompson.
