Warwick Davis

Warwick Ashley Davis (born 3 February 1970 in Epsom, Surrey, England) is an English actor, television presenter, writer, director, comedian and producer. He played the title characters in Willow (1988) and the Leprechaun film series (1993-2003), several characters in the Star Wars franchise (most notably the Ewok Wicket), and Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook in all eight Harry Potter films (2001-2011). Davis also starred as a fictionalised version of himself in the sitcom Life's Too Short (2011), written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. He has presented ITV game shows Celebrity Squares (2014–2015) and Tenable (2016–present).

Ian Whyte

Ian Stuart Whyte (born 17 September 1971 in Bangor, Gwynedd, Wales) is a Welsh actor, stuntman and former professional basketball player. He is known for his roles as Predators in Alien vs. Predator (2004) and its sequel Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007), Sheikh Suleiman in the 2010 remake of Clash of the Titans and The Last Engineer in Prometheus (2012).

He also portrayed various characters in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones (2011-2017) including White Walkers in season 1 and season 2 and a giant in the opening episode of season 3. For these roles he was unrecognisable under make-up and computer effects. In season 2, he also had a speaking role as Ser Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane. In season 5 and season 6, Whyte portrayed the giant Wun Wun. He later played a giant wight in episode 3 of Season 8.

I met Ian at Film & Comic Con Newcastle in March 2014 and at a double bill screening of Predator and Alien vs. Predator organised by the Burnt Church Film Club at The Flying Duck in Glasgow on 12 August 2018.

Margot Kidder

Margaret Ruth Kidder (born 17 October 1948 in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada; died 13 May 2018 in Livingston, Montana, USA), known professionally as Margot Kidder, was a Canadian-American actress, director, and activist whose career spanned over five decades

Though she appeared in an array of films and television, Kidder was most widely known for her performance as Lois Lane in the Superman film series, appearing in the first four films: Superman (1978), Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983) and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987).

I met Margot at Film & Comic Con Glasgow in August 2016.

Sean Patrick Astin (nĂ© Duke; born 25 February 1971 in Sant Monica, California, USA) is an American actor, voice actor, director, and producer. His acting roles include Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003), Mikey Walsh in The Goonies (1985), Billy Tepper in Toy Soldiers (1991), Daniel Ruettiger in Rudy (1993) and Bob Newby in the second season of Stranger Things (2017).

Robert Picardo

Robert "Bob" Picardo (born 27 October 27 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) is an American actor. I know him best for his roles as the Emergency Medical Hologram (EMH), also known as The Doctor, in Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001) and as Coach Cutlip in The Wonder Years (1988-1991).

He also appeared in such films as Back to School (1986), Innerspace (1987), 976-EVIL (1988), Dead Heat (1988), Loverboy (1989), The 'Burbs (1989), Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) and Wagon's East (1994). He also provided the voice and image for the Johnnycab in Total Recall (1990).

Doug Bradley

Douglas William Bradley (born 7 September 1954 in Liverpool, England) is an English actor, best known for his role as the lead Cenobite Pinhead in the Hellraiser film series (1987-2005). He also appeared in Nightbreed (1990) and Book of Blood (2005).

Doug portrayed Captain Elliot Spencer and Pinhead in the following films: Hellraiser (1987), Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988), Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992), Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996), Hellraiser: Inferno (2000), Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002), Hellraiser: Deader (2005) and Hellraiser: Hellworld (2005).

Kenneth Colley

Kenneth Colley (born 7 December 1937 in Manchester, Lancashire, England; died 30 June 2025 in Ashford, Kent, England) was an English film and television actor whose career spanned over 60 years. He came to wider prominence through his role as Admiral Piett in the Star Wars films The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). I also know him for his role as Colonel Kontarsky in Firefox (1982).

I met Mr Colley at Collectormania Glasgow in August 2012 and at Film & Comic Con Newcastle in March 2014.
