Loren Avedon

Loren Avedon (born 30 July 1962 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American actor and martial artist. I know him for his roles of Scott Wylde in No Retreat, No Surrender 2 (1987), Will Alexander in No Retreat, No Surrender 3: Blood Brothers (1990), and Jake Donahue in The King of the Kickboxers (1990).

I sent the Germany lobby cards of No Retreat, No Surrender 3 (confusingly called Kick-Boxer 2: Blood Brothers in Germany) to Loren through the mail in September 2015 and he kindly returned all three of them signed.

Limahl

Christopher Hamill (born 19 December 1958 in Pemberton, Wigan, Lancashire, England), known professionally as Limahl (an anagram of Hamill), is an English pop singer. He was the lead singer of the pop group Kajagoogoo beginning in 1981, before embarking on a brief solo career, garnering the 1984 hit "The NeverEnding Story", the theme song for the film of the same name.

Limahl appeared at the 80s vs 90s Indoor Festival in Manchester on 29th January 2022. Monopoly Events, who were the organisers of this concert, also arranged private signings with all perfomers and this is when Limahl signed my The NeverEnding Story soundtrack CD cover.

Sammy Hagar

Samuel Roy Hagar (born 13 October 1947 in Salina, California, USA) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and entrepreneur. Hagar came to prominence in the 1970s with the hard rock band Montrose. He then launched a successful solo career and enjoyed further commercial success when he replaced David Lee Roth as the lead singer of Van Halen in 1985, but left in 1996. He returned to the band from 2003 to 2005. On March 12, 2007, Hagar was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Van Halen. His musical style primarily consists of hard rock, heavy metal, and glam metal.

Sammy Hagar performed 'Winner Takes It All' on the Over the Top (1987) soundtrack and I had been looking for an Over the Top related item signed by Sammy for a while. I purchased a signed 7" record sleeve from a seller in the RACC Facebook group. According to the seller he personally received this signature from Sammy when he was the opening act for an Aerosmith concert in the Detroit area, 'probably around 2012 or 2013', although I was able to confirm he opened for Aerosmith in 2010.
