Tony Danza

Tony Danza (born Antonio Salvatore Iadanza on 21 April 1951 in Brooklyn, New York, USA) is an American actor and former professional boxer. I know him for starring in the television series Taxi (1978-83) as Tony Banta and Who's the Boss? (1984-92) as Tony Micelli. He also starred as the Tony Micelli-esque Tony Simpson in the film She's Out of Control (1989).

I obtained Tony's autograph through the mail.

Martin Kove

Martin Kove (born 6 March 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, USA) is an American actor best known for his role as the Cobra Kai sensei John Kreese in the Karate Kid film series (1984-1989) and the follow-up YouTube series Cobra Kai (2018-present). He is also known for his work in films such as Death Race 2000 (1975) Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Steele Justice (1987) and Wyatt Earp (1994). He also had a recurring role in the television series Cagney & Lacey (1982-1988) as Victor Isbecki.

I obtained Martin's autograph on the Karate Kid 8x10 photo through the Showmasters pre-order service when he attended London Film & Comic Con in June 2012. The Rambo photo was purchased from Showmasters in September 2020. The signed Karate Kid 11x17 poster was purchased from Cinema Utopia Private Signings in October 2020. I finally met Martin at Comic Con Scotland in Edinburgh on 6 October 2024, where he signed my Rambo soundtrack sleeve and a Death Race 2000 12x16 poster.

Kurt McKinney

Kurt Robin McKinney (born 15 February 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA) is an American actor. I know him as Jason Stillwell in the 1986 martial arts film No Retreat, No Surrender, which also introduced audiences to Jean-Claude Van Damme. He also starred in Sworn to Justice (1996) with Cynthia Rothrock.

I obtained Kurt's autograph through the mail.

Adam Baldwin

Adam Baldwin (born 27 February 1962 in Winnetka, Illinois, USA) is an American actor and voice actor. I know him best for his part as Animal Mother in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket (1987). He also appeared in the television series Firefly and its continuation film Serenity as Jayne Cobb. He also appeared in Predator 2 (1990), Independence Day (1996) and The Patriot (2000).

I met Adam at Comic Con Liverpool in March 2019. He signed a Spanish DVD cover, which I had picked up on holiday last year for € 0.50. He seemed quite intrigued and took a picture of it with his phone.

Julia Nickson

Julia Nickson (born 11 September 1958) is a Singapore-born American actress. She first came to the attention of international audiences as Sylvester Stallone's love interest Co Bao in the boxoffice hit Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985). Other credits include playing Catherine Sakai in the first season of Babylon 5 and a recurring role as Dr Susan Lee on the television series Walker, Texas Ranger.

I received the autograph below after having supported a failed Kickstarter project in 2014.

Bill Conti

William Conti (born 13 April 1942 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA) is an American composer and conductor best known for his film scores. These include Rocky (1976) and four of its sequels, the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981), the 1980s hit television series Dynasty, and The Right Stuff (1985). The latter earned him an Academy Award for Best Original Score. He also received nominations in the Best Original Song category for "Gonna Fly Now" from Rocky and for the title song of For Your Eyes Only, which was sung by Sheena Easton. He was the musical director at the Academy Awards a record nineteen times.

Conti composed the score of ten Sylvester Stallone films. In addition to five of the Rocky films the following productions have a Bill Conti score: F.I.S.T. (1978), Paradise Alley (1978), Victory (known as Escape to Victory in the UK and other territories) (1981), Lock Up (1989) and Avenging Angelo (2002).

Other favourites of mine include The Karate Kid (1984), the TV series North & South (1985), Masters of the Universe (1987) and Inferno (known as Desert Heat in Europe)(1999).

Teri Hatcher

Teri Lynn Hatcher (born 8 December 1964 in Palo Alto, California, USA) is an American actress, voice-actress, writer, singer and former NFL cheerleader. She is probably best known for portraying Lois Lane in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993–97), as Paris Carver in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies and as Susan Mayer in the television series Desperate Housewives (2004–12). However I know her best as Stallone's character's sister Kiki in Tango & Cash (1989).

I met Teri at Comic Con Liverpool in March 2019.
